Is THIS Best Watch Collection EVER? Cartier's Next Level dept. - Rolex STUNNING "Oscars" dial

Best Collection EVER?

Even more impressive than the $50 million Japan super-collector is CRAZY KIRBY’s Mid-Century Modernist Masterpieces.

Piaget “Andy Warhol” white gold and malachite dial - Value $25,000+

The malachite specimen is incredible. The case feels slightly too big for the strap, but nothing is perfect. Piaget are the masters of stone dials. This fits our “Best of Breed” philosophy - buy the watch the brand is known for. Recent auction results are trending UP for Piaget stone dial

Rolex Day Date 40 Oscars" Rose gold slate fume dial - Value $55,000

Rolex Day Date 40 is an incredible design platform - just like the AP Royal Oak. The key for collectors is to choose the RIGHT dial/metal combo. Nothing WORSE than seeing a modern Day Date with a CHAMPAGNE dial. It’s a total disgrace. For pre-1990’s Rolex, champagne dial is OK, for the full vintage look. Post-1990 it’s just tacky. Don’t be tacky! White and black dials on Rolex are quite boring. This grey fume dial has perfect contrast, and complements the rose gold. It is STUNNING.
